As part of the day-to-day business operations of Tennessee Rural Health Improvement Association (TRH), including operation of the TRH website, we receive and maintain certain information regarding our members. The privacy of our members is important to TRH and we are committed to its protection. Information received from the TRH website depends in part on what you do when you visit or transact business on the TRH website.

Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our members to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to our members (i.e., claims administration, adjustment and management; underwriting, policy placement or issuance). Information is shared with entities (i.e., BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee) that assist TRH in supplying products and services to members on behalf of TRH. We do not sell our members' nonpublic personal information. Information is provided to nonaffiliated third parties as required by federal and state law. TRH maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safe guards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Any person or entity to whom we release information is prohibited by law and/or contract with TRH from misusing nonpublic personal information.

TRH offers direct links to other separate and individual websites that offer information, which could be beneficial to our members. Since these direct links are separate websites independent of www.trh.com, they may not follow the same privacy guidelines set forth here. TRH assumes no responsibility or control over the acts for privacy policies of the third party websites to which TRH provides direct links. We suggest that you contact the appropriate controlling authority of these sites or review their privacy policies.

Security
TRH takes precautions to protect its users personal nonpublic information. When users submit sensitive information to TRH, the information is protected both online and offline.

TRH uses PGP encryption software. When the user sends information on one of the contact forms on this site, that information is encrypted and is protected with PGP encryption software. You will know you are on a secure page when the lock icon on your browser appears locked.

While TRH uses PGP encryption to protect sensitive information online, TRH protects user information offline. Only employees who need sensitive information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. TRH employees must use password-protected screensavers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must reenter their password to regain access to your information. All employees are kept up to date on TRH security and privacy policies. The servers that store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
